How it works
The source
Before a restaurant in Wake County can serve food, Environmental Services issues a permit and publishes it with the opening date and the establishment's phone. We pull that record every day. We also pull commercial build-out permits from Wake County and the City of Raleigh whose use or description is a restaurant, bar, café or brewery, which usually land months before opening day.
What a row contains
Business name, type (restaurant, food stand, bar, mobile unit), status (open, opens on a date, or permitted and building), street address, city and ZIP, the phone number on the county record, a chain flag, the permit detail for build-outs, and a link back to the public record. CSV attached, same table in the email.
When it arrives
Every Monday at 7 a.m. Eastern. Pro adds a same-morning alert on any day a new permit posts, so you can be on the phone before the sign is up. No login, no dashboard, nothing to learn. Forward it to your reps or drop the CSV in your CRM.

Questions
Where does the data come from?
Three public sources. Wake County Environmental Services publishes every food-service establishment it permits, with the opening date on record and the phone number the establishment gave the county. Wake County and the City of Raleigh publish building permits, and we keep the commercial ones whose proposed use or description is a restaurant, bar, café or brewery. Every row in the file carries a link to the dataset it came from.
How fresh is it?
The county usually posts a food-service permit within about five business days of issuing it. We pull all three sources every day. The Monday file holds everything with an open date in the last two weeks or scheduled ahead, and marks what is new since last Monday. Pro subscribers get an alert the morning a new record appears.
Is it legal to call these businesses?
These are business phone numbers published by the county in public permit records, and we republish them as published. Whether and how you contact a business is your responsibility: the TCPA, the national do-not-call rules, CAN-SPAM and North Carolina law all still apply to you. We do not sell consumer data, we do not scrape private sources, and we include only what the public record contains.
Do you include chains?
Yes, flagged. A new Chick-fil-A is not a lead for a POS dealer, but it is for a linen route or a local insurance agent, and the franchisee is a local business. Sort the column and skip them if you want to.
Do you cover Durham, Chapel Hill or Charlotte?
Wake County only, today. Durham County's public records are not updated often enough for us to sell them honestly, and Mecklenburg does not publish a usable feed. Ask and we will tell you where each stands. When a county is dependable, it gets added, and existing subscribers get it at their current price.
How accurate is it?
As accurate as the public record. The county's open date is the date the current permit took effect, so a new owner taking over an existing restaurant shows up next to a brand-new one; for most buyers that is just as good a lead, and the address will tell you which it is. Sometimes a row has no phone, sometimes an open date slips, and a build-out permit is a strong signal, not a guarantee that a restaurant opens. We do not clean the data by hand, which is why it is $99 a month and not $495. Verify before you rely on a row.
What format is it in?
A CSV attached to the email, which opens in Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers, or imports into any CRM, plus the same rows in the email body so you can read it on your phone. If you need it in a different shape, or pushed somewhere by API, email us.
How do I cancel?
Reply to any file, or email hello@coldersales.com, and it is done the same day. No contract, no minimum. And if the first paid file is not worth it, say so and we refund the month.
